Job Description
The Rivers School seeks a School Nurse to manage the day-to-day health office operations, provide direct student care, and oversee health policies. The role requires a BSN degree, 5-10 years of nursing experience, and pediatric experience. The position includes a generous tuition remission for summer programs.
Requirements
- Manage the daily operations of the Health Office
- Provide first aid, assessment, and emergency care for student illness and injury
- Develop and implement Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) for students with chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date student health records
- Implement infection control practices and maintain a safe clinical environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student health needs
- Coordinate and manage health planning for off-campus experiences
- Provide direct on-trip nursing care if needed
