Neuropsychologist (RPT 0.5 FTE)

This neuropsychologist position provides neuropsychological evaluations for patients with severe and persistent mental illness, offering case consultation, supervision to students, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes adherence to ethical guidelines, professional standards, and The Royal’s Anti-Racism, Harassment & Discrimination Free policy.

Requirements

• Doctoral-level education from a CPA/APA accredited institution.
• Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario; Autonomous practice preferred.
• Authorized areas of practice in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology.
• Authorized client populations in Adults.
• Minimum 2 years experience post PhD in clinical mental health practice preferred.
• Proficiency in neuropsychological and clinical instruments commonly used in assessment.
• Competency and experience in a mental health setting is required.
• Experience in an organized healthcare facility (e.g. hospital, clinic) is an asset.
• Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles and practices.
• Knowledge of neuropsychological assessment, interpretation and report writing is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain good working relations.
• Demonstrated capacity for sound clinical judgment.
• Commitment to continuous quality improvement and team work.
• Effective mentoring and clinical supervision skills to support both academic and clinical practice.
