Senior Clinician - Emergency Mental Health

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Senior Clinician for the Emergency Mental Health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to individuals in crisis and with potential mental health disorders. The role requires a strong understanding of mental illness, effective communication skills, and the ability to work on a rotating roster including weekend and night shifts.

Requirements

• Formal Qualifications: This is a multidisciplinary role and is open to Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Clinical Psychologists (must hold relevant degree, registration and/or membership as per attached Position Description)
• Essential: Demonstrate a strong understanding of mental illness and the assessment of disorders including relevant legislation pertinent to the role
• Ability to work on a rotating roster including weekend and night shifts
