Cook $18-$20/hr (Gig Shift)

We are looking for a Cook to join our team at The Rushwood Senior Living located in Wichita, Kansas. The Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing exceptional quality food, and taking the mess out of the mess hall. The Cook will also be responsible for ensuring health protocols are followed and participating in resident orientations.

Requirements

• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents
• Possess a current Food Handlers Card
• Demonstrate skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
• Possess proficient written and oral communication skills
• Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
• Be comfortable in close contact with extreme temperatures
• Be criminally cleared
