Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and values-driven Case Worker to support community members seeking material aid or more specialized case work support in Cairns. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with people to explore deeper issues contributing to their situation and help them build capacity, resilience, and self-directed change.
Requirements
- Diploma in Community Services (or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting vulnerable people facing challenges such as financial hardship, housing instability, mental health concerns, or substance use
- Demonstrated experience in strengths-based, person-centred casework
- Valid QLD Blue Card (WWCC)
- Valid driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
