Director of Social Services I

The Director of Social Services I provides direction and leadership to all Social Services Programs administered through the Area Command, writes and processes grants and proposals, develops and enforces operational and personnel policies, and monitors quality of programs and compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures. They also supervise staff, monitor budgets, and evaluate program effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or related field
• Four years progressively responsible experience in social services program coordination and supervision
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
