Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, enrolling, and training volunteers for service projects, as well as supervising and organizing volunteer activities. The role involves planning, scheduling, and assigning work of volunteers, instructing them in proper methods and procedures, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of their work. The Coordinator also maintains contact with staff and volunteers, prepares records and reports, and assists with special events and projects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One year experience recruiting people to perform work on a volunteer basis preferred
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers
• Ability to prepare accurate and complete records and reports
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language
