Heavy Equipment Operator

The Plant Operator is responsible for operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), front end loaders or other equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, count merchandise, move around finished palleted goods including loading/unloading trucks and flatbeds, prepares organic mixes using a heavy equipment loader, pushes or relocates piles to ensure segregation of materials.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team
• Must have at least one year experience operating a PIT or other heavy equipment
• Must be able to do basic math functions such as adding, subtracting and dividing
• Must be able to read and write
• Must be able to complete the pre-shift inspection forms
• Conduct themselves in a manner that promotes safety
