Job Description
Allied Health Solutions Medical Group is seeking a Medical Clerk-EDD Claims Processor to manage all aspects of EDD-related paperwork and communications. The position involves processing claim forms, communicating with patients and providers, submitting documentation, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The role reports to management and focuses on efficient and accurate submission of medical records for disability leave claims.
Requirements
- Process and complete EDD disability leave claim forms accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with healthcare providers to obtain necessary medical information.
- Submit claims electronically or by mail in accordance with EDD guidelines.
- Maintain organized records of all submitted claims and correspondence.
- Respond to phone inquiries from patients, providers, and EDD representatives in a timely and professional manner.
