Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The CMA will support physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
- Assist with clinical procedures such as injections, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
- Schedule appointments, manage phone calls, and handle patient inquiries
- Coordinate prescription refills and prior authorizations with pharmacies and insurance providers
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and properly equipped
