Job Description
Our client is a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant based in Sharjah and they are hiring a Sous Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall running of the kitchen, executing dishes, maintaining inventory and cost control, leading and developing the BOH team, and assisting the Head Chef with administrative duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Mediterranean/Italian upscale restaurant
- Bachelor's degree or diploma certificate in relevant field
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
- Up to date with the latest trends in the F&B industry regionally and globally
- Great knowledge of HACCP
- Knowledge of MS Office and restaurant POS systems
- High level of leadership, planning, decision-making, and management skills
