Job Description
Primary Responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing test cases, investigating and reporting defects, and ensuring test material integrity. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, two or more years of software testing/programming experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or software test related experience/knowledge/certification a plus.
- Two or more years of software testing/programming experience in a professional software development environment.
- Experience with Business and Quality Assurance Testing Process Models.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing test procedures.
- Knowledge of client-server, stand-alone, java-based software development, and a clear understanding of the role of testing in a software development organization.
- Must have knowledge about Microsoft Windows and Office technologies, along with software test tools.
- Excellent documentation skills and a passion for documenting accurately required.
- Experience with Xray or other test management software a plus.
- Experience with Confluence, Jira and testing of financial applications preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively and work either with a team or independently.
