High Voltage Journeyperson

High Voltage Journeyperson needed at The Tri-M Group, LLC. Must have a state-approved apprenticeship program or equivalent, minimum of four years' experience in the electrical trade, and a valid commercial driver's license-Class A (CDL). Requirements

• High school diploma
• Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program or equivalent
• Minimum of four years' experience in the electrical trade
• Ability to read and understand bas one-line diagrams (power, special systems riser, etc.)
• Good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and the high voltage electrical safety book
• Good character, neat appearance
• Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of outdoor electrical system
• Ability to climb height of 70 ' on poles or scaffolds
• Maintain a valid commercial driver's license-Class A (CDL) or in the process of obtaining and a history of safe driving
• Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the assigned work location/office
• Must purchase Company required personal tools and maintain in good condition
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally to jobsites
• Confident, decisive, safety orientated and self-motivated
• Proficient with use of laptop and tablet
• Good knowledge of bus duct (usage and installation)
• Working knowledge of outdoor lighting installations (proper excavating and backfill, forming, underground conduit, correct connections and conductors)
• Understands the use and installation of portable and fixed generators
