Under the supervision of a Project Manager or Industrial Supervisor, performs various tasks related to the layout and installation of various industrial electrical systems. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures, and working from construction drawings to install branch power, lighting and distribution systems.
Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of six years' experience in the electrical or building automations trade
- Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program and the ability to obtain a Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License.
- A minimum of two years' experience working within an industrial environment.
- Good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Ability to read, understand and effectively apply construction drawings, specifications and electrical schematics.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Proficient computer literacy including word processing, working with spreadsheets, processing emails and data entry.
- Knowledge of electrical trade and applicable building and electrical codes to include PLC, motor controls, cable, cable tray installations and classified areas.
- Confident, decisive, self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location/office.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Must purchase company required personal tools (see attached list) and maintain in good condition.
- Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally to jobsites as needed.
