The Seasonal Assistant Camp Director will oversee campers and counselors, create activity schedules, develop programs, and assist with administrative tasks to run a successful and engaging camp.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or science preferred
- 1-3 years' experience working as a camp counselor, classroom teacher, informal educator, and/or childcare provider with children ages 5-14
- Experience supervising a team of individuals and providing constructive feedback
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group
- Ability to take initiative and accomplish necessary tasks promptly with great independence
- A positive attitude, willingness to be flexible, and a commitment to achieving goals
