Job Description
Perform semi-skilled and unskilled carpentry work, including interior and exterior building maintenance, repair of rough and finish carpentry work, and design and installation of furniture and glazing systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Completion of a 2-year University of Akron or other State Approved Sponsored Apprenticeship Program for Trade
- 5 years of carpenter trades experience
- Ability to operate and use standard powered and nonpowered carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to perform mathematics associated with trade applications
- Ability to read, write and accurately follow oral, written and graphic instructions
- Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints
