The UBC Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, tenure track. The successful candidate will be a full qualified and licensed pathologist with subspecialty training in gynecologic pathology and must have proven research potential and strong computational biology skills.
Requirements
- Full qualified and licensed pathologist with subspecialty training in gynecologic pathology
- Proven research potential and strong computational biology skills
- Concurrent position as a clinical gynecologic pathologist
- Ability to develop and lead the analysis of high-dimensional datasets derived from clinically annotated gynecologic cancers
- Ability to write successful grants and lead projects
- Teaching activities of the Department, as well as provide mentorship and training to undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate learners
- Service to the University and the broader academic and professional community
- Contribution to fostering an environment that promotes inclusivity and embodies values of respect, integrity, compassion, collaboration, and equity
