Community Engagement Coordinator

The Community Engagement Coordinator oversees community-engaged learning activities for the Bachelor of Media Studies (BMS) program. The coordinator serves as a key liaison between the program, faculty, students, cross-campus and external UBC units, while facilitating co-curricular opportunities.

Requirements

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies and initiatives
• Manage CEL-related communications and outreach activities
• Build and steward relationships with external community partners
• Oversee the delivery of community-learning initiatives
• Develop and evaluate customized events and co-curricular activities
• Conduct research and analyze data to assess educational needs
• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate CEL-related resources
