The Research Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operations of the Department of Medicine's Research Office, including providing administrative and grant development support, promoting research activity, and developing and executing strategic projects to enhance research and research communications in the department.
Requirements
- Supports DASH and Departmental research initiatives
- Identifies and assesses funding opportunities
- Contributes to the development of collaborative grant applications
- Engages faculty, staff, trainees, and external stakeholders
- Drafts reports and presentations
- Coordinates the development and dissemination of research communications
- Acts as a point of contact for research-related inquiries
- Collaborates in the development and delivery of departmental and cluster research events
- Coordinates research meetings, seminars, and workshops
- Coordinates the development and submission of research funding applications
- Ensures submissions are compliant
- Acts as a liaison between faculty, the SPARC office, and central administrative units
- Supports internal review and award processes
- Provides project coordination support to project contributors
- Provides guidance for requirements of funding agencies
