Job Description
The School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) at the University of British Columbia is inviting applications for a full-time Research Associate in stem cell biology, tissue regeneration and degeneration, for a one-year term. The position may be extended subject to work performance and funding availability. The Research Associate will collaborate with the members of the laboratories involved in the projects within and outside of UBC, integrating cutting-edge pluripotent stem cells, organoid systems, animal models, genetic disease, infection, genomics, and immunology.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field
- Strong research background with past publications, accomplishments, and references
- Background in stem cell biology, animal models, immunology, and multi-omics
- At least 5 years of experience in a postdoctoral and/or Research Associate role with experience in laboratory personnel management
