Research Coordinator

The Research Coordinator will assist with various activities related to the overall programme, including multiple projects with diverse stakeholders. The Coordinator will interact with the Principal Investigator, program Managers, Clinicians and other members of the team, including residents, fellows, undergraduate and graduate students. The Coordinator will conduct all activities in an ethical manner, suited to the proper activities of the University of British Columbia and to the professional organizations governing themselves and those governing the activities of the Director, Clinicians and all other investigators.

Requirements

• Completion of a relevant technical program or a university degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum three years of related experience
• Recent experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
• Project Management Professional designation considered an asset
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
• Ability to coach team members on project management skills
• Experience or working knowledge of content areas is key to the success of this role
• Effectively monitors budgets and executes project plans with stringent timelines
• Utilizes initiative, vision, independent thinking and creative problem-solving abilities to implement project plans and realize project completion
• Excellent communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment
• Ability to communicate with the clinical community
