Job Description
The University of Findlay invites applications for a full-time, faculty position in the Department of Biology at the rank of Instructor of Teaching or tenure-track Assistant Professor, beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of anatomy and physiology courses, including both human and animal systems, as well as introductory biology courses for majors and non-majors.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in biology or a related field for Instructor level
- Ph.D. in biology or a closely related field for Assistant Professor level
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching anatomy and physiology and introductory biology courses
- Strong record or clear potential for mentoring undergraduate research
- Evidence of scholarly activity appropriate for involving undergraduates
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching and engagement of diverse student populations
