Job Description
The University of Findlay invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Teaching in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. The successful candidate will provide clinical support to animals housed in the Dr. C. Richard Beckett Animal Science Center and teach courses and/or labs relevant to their training and experience. Applicants should have a strong desire and passion for advising and mentorship.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited program or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program
- Successful completion and passing score on the NAVLE
- Current Ohio Veterinary License
- Current Ohio Board of Pharmacy License
- Current D.E.A. License
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- Food animal clinical experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to utilize digital technologies for course design and delivery
- Strong desire and passion for advising and mentorship
