Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. They assist providers as requested, respond to patient distress situations, and assist with equipment quality control and inventory management.

Requirements

• Assist in transporting patients to nursing units.
• Attend to patient needs during cardiac lab procedures.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures.
• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedures rooms by ensuring that adequate stock is available.
• Scrub during procedure, as applicable.
