Pharmacy Resident - PGY1 Olathe Campus

The Pharmacy Practice Resident provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, clinical services, and teaching, with a focus on patient-focused pharmaceutical care and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Active participation in organizational and departmental performance improvement efforts
• Consistent attendance at patient care rounds and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Flexibility to cover supplemental shifts and assist with staffing needs
• Adherence to hospital's Standards of Excellence
• Attendance at residency events and review of minutes
• Documentation of medication incidents and adverse drug reactions
• Demonstration of critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and self-awareness skills
• Participation in quality management program and projects
• Contribution to pharmacy department projects and external publications
• Sharing of pharmaceutical expertise through educational presentations
• Precepting of clerkship students and interns
