Job Description
EOI - Academic Sessional (Computer Science), School of Arts & Sciences. Teaching opportunities available on a sessional basis in the Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Computer Science programs.
Requirements
- Doctoral qualification in computer science, or equivalent accreditation and/or standing.
- Knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies in computer science and related areas.
- Ability to deliver high-quality learning and teaching practices in multiple modes, including face-to-face and hybrid delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collegiality and empathize with students.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines in a busy educational environment.
- Teaching experience, including the ability to develop and deliver computer science courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, incorporating new technologies and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to support the national and international positioning of the school in computer science or related disciplines.
- Previous experience working in the tertiary education sector is desirable.
