Job Description
The University of Queensland is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead internal audit engagements, provide advice to management, and ensure effective internal controls, governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks are in place. The successful candidate will have a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism, with the ability to act independently, objectively, and with integrity.
Requirements
- Internal Audit certification (CIA, CPA, CA, or equivalent)
- Relevant commercial/business or similar discipline qualifications
- At least 7 years' experience in Internal Audit/assurance roles
- Extensive expertise in contemporary Internal Audit practices, Global Standards, and risk and control frameworks
