Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our world-class research team at the Frazer Institute to support and drive dermatology research. The successful candidate will conduct vital research in regenerative dermatology and genetic skin diseases, leveraging hiPSC technology and advanced skin organoid systems.
Requirements
- A PhD in stem cell biology, molecular genetics, bioengineering, or a related discipline with demonstrated research experience in human disease modelling or organoid systems.
- An emerging research profile in hiPSC technology, genome editing, and/or advanced 3D tissue models, with a track record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific conferences.
- A solid foundational understanding of molecular biology, and developmental biology (skin biology and dermatology experience highly desirable).
- Advanced expertise in genome engineering, gene correction strategies, and characterisation of engineered cell lines and organoids.
- Experience in organoid culture, 3D tissue systems, and translational human model development will be considered an advantage.
