Fabrication Studios Student Assistant (Open to work study and non-work study)

This is a part time student position at Texas Performing Arts. Both work study and non-work study students are encouraged to apply. Position is available to continue throughout student tenure. As a member of the Student Assistant team at the Texas Performing Arts Fabrication Studios, you will be behind the scenes making the magic happen. You will build, paint, and install scenery and props for The Department of Theatre & Dance, the Butler School of Music, and Texas Performing Arts productions.

Requirements

• Assist full-time staff in construction, painting, workspace maintenance, and inventory.
• Routinely lift 35 pounds.
• Available to work a regular 10 hours per week schedule.
• Dress for safety by wearing closed toe shoes, long pants, and short sleeves.
