Join the Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE) and help us push the boundaries in critical semiconductor domains, including advanced packaging, with the aim of reestablishing U.S. prominence in semiconductor manufacturing. As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer I or II, you'll oversee the safe design and operation of various mechanical systems for our semiconductor wafer fab and test facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least two years' experience in building mechanical systems engineering, design and construction
- Familiarity with ASHRAE Fundamentals, cooling, heating and steam system design and operation, pump and piping system design and HVAC system equipment design and operation
- Experience in troubleshooting system deficiencies, developing and implementing robust maintenance strategies and identifying opportunities to improve reliability and reduce cost
