Lifeguard

Provide exceptional customer service and enforce pool rules to create a safe pool environment. Oversight of Texas Swimming Center facilities/pools and swimmers. Lifeguarding, knowledge of emergency procedures and rescue techniques. Maintain a high skill level in swimming, lifeguarding and customer service.

Requirements

• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
• Ability to maintain proper position and posture while lifeguarding
• Strong communication skills and tactfulness
• Ability to work in a team structure and in an environment comprised of diverse populations
• Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures
• Excellent problem solving, flexibility and adaptability
