Requirements
- Orients Patients and Coordinates Appointment and Visit Flow
- Provides clear directions and answers general inquiries.
- Assists visually impaired patients with mobility and orientation.
- Maintains a calm and professional demeanor in high-traffic areas.
- Ensures reception area is clean, organized, and accessible.
- Ensures timely movement through dilation, testing, and provider consults.
- Supports equipment needs for Ophthalmologist
- Assists in preparation and performance of minor procedures
- Provides Administrative Support and Enhances Patient Experience
- Prepares and distributes patient education materials.
- Offers personalized assistance for special needs or requests.
- Facilitates communication between patients and providers.
- Collaborates with Clinical and Support Teams
- Works closely with ophthalmic technicians, ophthalmologists, and front desk staff.
- Participates in team huddles and workflow improvement efforts.
- Communicates effectively across departments.
