Postdoctoral Fellow, Nuclear Engineering Teaching Lab, Cockrell School of Engineering

The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the area of mobile manipulation for handling material in nuclear and/or hazardous environments. The position is a temporary training position that may be renewed annually, for a maximum of five years, based upon performance review, progress towards research goals, and continuation of funding.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field received within the past three (3) years
• Experience in the preparation of proposals and peer-reviewed technical papers
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and sponsors
