This role is generally responsible for providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of vascular patients.
Requirements
- Prepare exam room and equipment to conduct radiologic examinations
- Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform the diagnostic medical examination
- Utilize radiographic equipment to perform x-rays
- Identify anatomical orientation on images and assure proper file identification
- Apply independent judgement during the examination
- Review examination images and synthesize examination results
- Perform quality control procedures and manage a preventive maintenance program
- Assist in prioritizing assigned work based on workflow fluctuations
- Provide detailed and accurate procedure information
- Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care and facility requirements
- Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPAA regulations
