Job Description
Voleon is a technology company that applies state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to real-world problems in finance. As a Fund Accountant, you will report directly to the Fund Finance Director and collaborate with talented colleagues across the company to help manage fund accounting, post-trade operations, reporting, and various projects.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in public accounting, a private fund or fund administrator
- Thorough understanding of financial reporting and its application to investment management funds
- Experience working with enterprise-level accounting software
- Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel
- Experience automating manual processes (preferred)
- Exposure to or interest in gaining experience with Python or SQL (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- Authorization to work in the United States
