Area Manager - Costume Production

The Area Manager – Costume Production is responsible for leading costume teams, providing guidance and feedback, and promoting development and inclusion. They must balance creative needs with budgetary constraints and ensure a consistent product and high level of customer service.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
• 3+ years of experience in Costuming, Theater, Live Entertainment, Garment Manufacturing, Fashion, or other related field
• Experience in garment construction and performing fittings
• Experience mentoring and providing direction to Salaried and Hourly Union Cast
• Proficient in solving conflict and gaining consensus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work around all types of fibers, fabrics, and synthetic furs
• Schedule availability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Ability to travel domestically & internationally up to 10% of the time
