Dry Dock Entertainment Technical Manager

The Technical Manager will oversee the dry dock scope of work for Disney Cruise Line's fleet's entertainment technical. The role requires experience with technical entertainment equipment and setup, gained on cruise ships or in large-scale theatre productions. The Technical Manager will collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to complete projects on time and in budget.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary technical entertainment or related degree or higher national diploma
• Cruise sector technical operations knowledge, Professional qualifications in relevant marine regulations
• Significant technical entertainment engineering experience, gained either on cruise ships or large-scale theatrical productions
• Significant project management experience in a corporate matrix environment
• Office Technical Entertainment Operations and Ship Management experience
• Previous significant financial responsibility (+$1m)
• Ability to build effective professional relationships across different cultures
• Flexibility to work with ships in different locations and time zones, Flexibility to work with shore side teams residing in US and UK offices
