Job Description
The EHS Director - North America Operations will lead the SHE function across North America Minerals, managing SHE resources, and fostering a high-performing team. The role will drive consistent execution of SHE priorities, identify gaps and risks, and implement systematic actions to achieve zero harm. The EHS Director will work closely with senior leaders locally and globally to integrate SHE strategies and communicate safety messages clearly and effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- Proven track record of managing and executing impactful SHE initiatives with measurable success
- Strong change management skills with the ability to lead teams and drive organizational safety culture transformation
- Experience in heavy industrial equipment manufacturing or related sectors such as rubber, machining, foundry, or heavy assembly
- Familiarity with safety management systems, like ICAM
