EPI Power is hiring an electrical General Foreman to supervise, coordinate, and assign activities of electricians, apprentices, helpers, and temp workers on a data center project site. The role involves analyzing workers, foreseeing production problems, and recommending solutions, as well as overseeing and coordinating the work of the electrical Foreman.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
- A valid Class A or B license from the State of Iowa is preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
- Ability to make complex cuts not to waste material, and figure out complex forming systems
- Training and complying with all safety rules, and performing without constant supervision
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively with customers and co-workers
- Ability to work in outside weather conditions, be aware of close moving mechanical parts, and perform in high, precarious places
