Job Description
The Weitz Company is hiring a Field Engineer to assist with the supervision of field work performed on assigned projects. The Field Engineer will report directly to the Project Superintendent and will be responsible for assisting with project planning, design changes, equipment review, and site logistics.
Requirements
- Participate in project plan development and execution
- Make recommendations for design or other changes to enhance project quality
- Assist superintendent with equipment review and planning
- Maintain and protect all tools, equipment, and materials on the jobsite
- Maintain accurate cost reporting
- Respond effectively to RFI's and coordinate response in field
- Assist in monitoring field performance for all aspects of the project
