Job Description
The Wistar Institute is seeking a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Alexander Price. The successful candidate will work on research projects focused on DNA tumor viruses, and will learn various lab techniques, including human cell culture, RNA sequencing, and molecular biology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a science related field
- Prior experience working with human tissue culture and viral systems
- General molecular biology lab techniques such as nucleic acid preparation, gel-based electrophoresis, and molecular cloning
