Job Description
Wonderful Citrus is North America’s leading integrated grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus. The Farming Intern will support a wide range of agricultural operations, with primary focus on Grove Care and Spray activities.
Requirements
- Assisting farm field supervisors with daily tasks and projects
- Assimilate and analyze production and farm-related data
- Create, present and distribute various farming reports
- Update, revise and distribute various databases
- Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Crop Science or related studies
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be at least in his or her Junior year/Junior academic standing
- Computer proficient in Excel, Access, Word, etc.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Demonstrate interest in Farming/Pest Control Operations
- High attention to detail
- Valid Driver License
