Research & Development Intern

As an R&D Intern at Wonderful Orchards, you will gain knowledge and understanding of scientific research in an applied research program, interacting with multiple departments and gaining skills in internal departmental communication, critical thinking, teamwork, problem solving, leadership, and more.

Requirements

• Monitoring, note taking, capturing pictures, and surveying trials throughout internship
• Communicating with the West Valley farming team to obtain necessary information on trial projects
• Data collection and data analysis
• Collaborating with Research Technicians on collecting leaf samples from different pistachio varieties
• Delivering samples to Wonderful Laboratories
• Job shadowing research staff, attending meetings, etc.
