Coordinator Student and Teacher Engagement

The Coordinator of Student and Teacher Engagement develops and implements dynamic art-making and learning experiences for prekindergarten through twelfth-grade students and educators at the High Museum of Art. This role leads the planning and coordination of art-making workshops for students, contributes to curriculum and content development for workshops and guided tours, coordinates educator professional learning, supports teacher resource development, and manages the museum’s student exhibition program.

Requirements

• Strong project management and creative thinking skills.
• Experience in curriculum or program development.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently and with a variety of people, and a professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for art and visual culture.
• Undergraduate degree in art education, art history, studio art, or related field preferred;
• 2–3 years of experience in museum education, teaching, or arts programming required;
• Experience working with teaching artists and/or youth programs strongly preferred.
