Job Description
The Manager of Exhibitions is responsible for managing all aspects of exhibition planning, budgeting, and execution at the High Museum of Art, reporting to the Deputy Director, Collections and Exhibitions. The role involves exhibition management, communication, and departmental administration, requiring exceptional project management and interpersonal skills, highly organized, with excellent oral and written communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of museum practice and publications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in art history or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of museum project management experience
- Knowledge of publication management as well as images and rights
- Minimum of three years of supervision of direct reports
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; TMS, Trello, and Work Day preferred
