Job Description
An Expanded Function Dental Assistant performs patient care, office, and laboratory duties, assisting the dentist or dental hygienist during examinations and treatment of patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Radiologic certification by the PA State Board of Dentistry or National Radiology Certification by Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
- Minimum 3 years EFDA experience, public health a plus
- EFDA State Certification required
- Coronal Polishing Course Certification as required by State Board of Dentistry
- DANB CDA National Certification preferred
- CPR Basic Life Support Certification
