Job Description
The Y in Central Maryland invites you to join their team as a Lead Teacher in Anne Arundel County Head Start. The role involves planning, managing, and supervising early childhood classroom structure, ensuring the health, welfare, and safety of children, and creating an environment that fosters their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development.
Requirements
- 2+ years of early childhood experience
- BA/BS or AA degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field
- 90 hour child care certification and 9 hours in communication
- Child Development Associate certificate (preferred)
