Pre-Lifeguard - Parkville

The Pre-Lifeguard associate is responsible for successfully completing all required training and certifications to become a certified lifeguard, assisting with safety, cleanliness, and operation of the swimming pool during operating hours, and general support to maintain safety for members on the pool deck.

Requirements

• Must have understanding of the age and stages of youth development, and work with children
• Ability to work with diverse population, all ages, genders, and sexual orientations
• Incorporate the four character values of the YMCA: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
• Communicate the Y mission and objectives to the community
