Research Scientist, AllenNLP

We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our team at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (Ai2). The successful candidate will have a strong background in natural language processing and a passion for advancing the science of generative AI. The role involves leading research to advance the science and technology of our Open Language Model (OLMo) and mentoring early-career researchers.

Requirements

• PhD in natural language processing or a closely related area
• Experience as a faculty, industry, or government researcher
• Specific focus and publication track record in one or more areas: pre-training or post-training language models, studying and understanding language models through data analyses and evaluation, generative AI in language or other modalities, experimental methodology, science of deep learning, efficient algorithms for deep learning
