Job Description
TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Kenai Peninsula, AK. The role involves providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- BS, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited university
- State License as Occupational Therapist
- NBCOT License
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- Experience working with children
- Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify and analyze areas of developmental and sensory-motor dysfunction
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
